Area and Volume questions ask you to measure lengths, two-dimensional regions, and three-dimensional solids. These SAT geometry practice questions focus on formula choice, units, composite figures, and scaling.

1. Name the measure first: length, area, volume, or circumference.
2. Choose the formula for the shape, or break a composite figure into familiar pieces.
3. Check units and scaling: side scale, area scale, and volume scale do not change the same way.
